TEA JOURNEY
In 2014, as a photographer in Singapore, Christine attended her first Japanese tea ceremony and realised some things her lens could never capture. She kept going back: learning from tea masters, meeting producers from Kyoto to Kirishima, practising Chanoyu in the Urasenke tradition. In 2020 she returned to France to bring these teas and matchas home. Each Kisuyu product carries the name of the person who inspired it. Kisuyu (キスユ) joins 季 Ki, the season that passes; 秀 Su, the beauty that emerges; 優 Yū, the grace that remains. The logo, a stylised tea flower, is a stamp of origin. Every cup is ichi-go ichi-e: one encounter, never repeated.
